This mating was another dream mating, but we had to fight and hope 'till the end for our happy ending.

At her first check up for pregnancy, Maia was found to have endometriosis and pregnant, while the day before she mated Nino the ultrasound showed us a perfect uterus.

At the beginning there were two heart beating, one week later only one. We followed this pregnancy and checked Maia's uterus and baby with ultrasound every week and in the last days every two-three days and... this kitten was growing up in her belly and we tought he was a big fighter, already!

The 27th of december, the last ultrasound and there was a suffering situation of the kitten inside... so Maia had a C-section and our great fighter was born and...now it's our pride and joy! He was a Xmas miracle!

For everything i need to thank our veterinary team and especially Dr. Marco Dario, Dr. Fabrizio Zonno (l'Arca di Noè), and our veterinary ecographists!

Questo era un'altro accoppiamento dei miei sogni, ma abbiamo dovuto combattere e sperare che ci fosse un lieto fine.

Al primo controllo per gravidanza, a Maia fu riscontrata un'endometriosi ed era anche incinta, mente il giorno prima che si accoppiasse con Nino l'ecografia mostrava un utero perfetto.

All'inizio c'erano ben due cuoricini che battevano, una settimana sola n'era rimasto solo uno. Abbiamo seguito questa gravidanza e controllato l'utero di Maia ed il cucciolo ogni settimana e negli ultimi giorni ogni due-tre giorni e... questo cucciolo continuava a crescere nel suo grembo, dimostrando da subito di essere un grande guerriero!

Il 27 dicembre l'ultima eco e sofferenza fetale... per questo Maia è stata sottoposta ad un parto cesareo ed il nostro grande guerriero è finalmente nato... ed ora è il nostro orgoglio e la nostra gioia! E' stato un miracolo di Natale!
